The circular economy of lead.

When a lead-acid battery reaches the end of its life, it does not have to end up in a landfill. A spent battery arrives at our facility, and we break it apart to separate the lead paste, metallic grids, polypropylene casing, and sulfuric acid.

The lead is smelted, refined to 99.98% purity, and cast into new ingots. The plastic is pelletized, and the acid is neutralized and treated. Those ingots become new batteries, and when those batteries reach the end of their life, the cycle starts again. Every ingot we produce was a battery, and every battery we process gets a second life.
